Cross Country invitational and Championship

Bridgeview has hosted a the Columbus State Community College Cross Country team home invitational and will host the 2005 Junior College Championship.  During this race the women’s team will race 3.1 miles while the men will run 5 miles unless it is the Championship when the men will run 6.2 miles.  This race course is held on the Driving range and on the golf course.  The hills of the facility at the golf course make this race a very challenging and difficult race to win.  In 2002 Bridgeview hosted the Junior College Championship and based on the conditions, accessibility and treatment that the colleges received, it has been asked of Bridgeview to host more of the Championships.
